pressure transmitter is a device that converts the information of the physical quantities and chemical quantities to a certain regular signal to facilitate measurement and transmission. It is a component of the unit assembly instrument. Transmitter is also a sensor that outputs standard signal.
According to the energy used, the transmitter is divided into two parts: pneumatic transmitter and electric transmitter.
(1) pneumatic transmitter
The pneumatic transmitter uses dry and clean compressed air as energy. It can transform the measured parameters, such as temperature, pressure, flow and liquid level, into 0.02 ~ 0.1IMPa air pressure signals, so as to transmit to the modulate, display and other unit combinatorial instruments for indication, record or adjustment. The structure of the pneumatic transmitter is simple, the work is more reliable, the anti-interference ability of the electromagnetic field, radiation and temperature, humidity and so on is stronger. It can be fireproof, explosion-proof, and the price is cheaper. The shortcoming is that the response speed is slow, the transmission distance is restricted, and the connection with the computer is difficult.
(2) electric transmitter
The electric transmitter takes electricity as the energy source, and the connection between signals is more convenient, which is suitable for long-distance transmission and is easy to connect with the electronic computer. In recent years, explosion-proof can also be used for safe use. The disadvantage is that the investment is generally high, which is greatly influenced by the interference of temperature, humidity, electromagnetic field and radiation. The electric transmitter can transform the measured parameters into 0 ~ 10mA or 4 ~ 20mA (the unified standard signal of DC current), so that the other units of the automatic control system towel can be transmitted.
The pressure transmitter is small in volume, light in weight, easy to install, debug, maintain and use, and is widely used in life. It is suitable for the pressure measurement of general liquid and gas.
Pressure transmitter is widely used in petroleum, marine, reservoir, river, chemical, metallurgical, electric, scientific research and other enterprises and institutions, can realize the measurement of fluid pressure, and is suitable for all weather conditions and various corrosive fluids in all kinds of occasions.
In addition to the application, the pressure transmitter can also be used to measure the viscous, crystalline and corrosive medium, which is nonlinear in the range of temperature, and has good temperature stability.
