The pressure transmitter is suitable for measuring the pressure, differential pressure, negative pressure and absolute pressure of various fluids (liquid and gaseous). For the various pressure forms as well as the conditions of high temperature, high pressure, high viscosity, corrosion, crystallization (fouling), suspended solids, etc., there are corresponding specifications, models, and application methods.
When selecting the range, the normal value, maximum value, and minimum value of the measurement object should be predicted in advance. In general, the range selection should satisfy:
1. The lower limit of the measurement range should be lower than or equal to the minimum value;
2, the upper limit should be higher than the maximum;
3. The normal value is within 1/2 to 4/5 of the entire range.
The scope of application refers to the applicable conditions of the pressure transmitter, such as temperature, pressure, use of media, etc., which is determined by the location of use.
The range is determined based on the actual operating pressure at the site of use. Generally, the normal operating pressure is not higher than 2/3 of the upper limit of the instrument range, and not less than 1/3 of the upper limit is the best. The maximum pressure must not exceed the maximum upper limit of the instrument, or it will be damaged. Instrumentation, of course, may not be as standard as normal
